FACE TO FACE INTERVIEWS

Personal interviews with pencil and paper, face to face with the interviewee, represent the most appropriate quantitative methodology when:

• The interviewee must visualize some materials (as in the case of advertising post-test, test of logos, test of packaging ...) or rank them (e.g. ranking of cards).

• The length of the interview is too long to perform it fluently over the phone.

• When children are the target to investigate it is also important to conduct the interviews in person (face to face).
